ICT Clubs & Innovation Hubs

We support ICT clubs in 283 secondary schools across Uganda. These clubs become mini innovation hubs where learners build apps, websites, robotics projects, AI solutions, and real community problem-solvers who apply technology to solve local challenges creatively and meaningfully.

KAWA Connect (Offline Digital Learning)

We install offline digital servers loaded with curriculum-aligned lessons, science simulations, videos, reading libraries, and practical demonstrations. No internet or data bundles required. Teachers and learners access content instantly, making high-quality digital learning available even in low-connectivity schools.

Teacher Training & School Leadership

We train teachers in digital pedagogy, assessment, and classroom use of ICT. We also support headteachers and school leaders in policy, budgeting for ICT, data-driven decision-making, and sustaining digital innovation across whole-school systems for long-term transformation.

Financial Literacy through GMT SACCO

We train teachers and school workers in savings discipline, budgeting, and responsible borrowing. We also help strengthen SACCOs and digital savings groups so teachers can access affordable loans, invest confidently, and build sustainable financial independence for themselves and their families.

What our Client Says About Us

At KAWA Uganda, our impact is best reflected through the voices of those we serve.
Schools, teachers, and communities across the country continue to share inspiring stories of transformation — from improved digital learning to empowered educators and motivated learners.
Their words remind us why we do what we do: to make quality education accessible, innovative, and inclusive for all.

“KAWA has transformed how teachers access and deliver lessons. Through digital content and teacher training, our classrooms are more interactive, and learners are more engaged. The KAWA team bridges the gap between policy and real classroom practice.”

— Mr. Ronald Nsubuga

Head Teacher,

“As a teacher, I used to struggle with integrating ICT in my lessons. After attending KAWA’s training, I can now use digital content confidently. The KAWA CONNECT offline resources make every lesson exciting, even in areas without internet.”

Ms. Sarah Atuhairwe

Teacher, Bishop SS Mukono

“KAWA doesn’t just train teachers — they understand the real challenges schools face. Their content, devices, and workshops are designed for Ugandan learners, especially those in rural communities.”

Ms. Patricia Akello

ICT Club Patron, Gulu High School
