Minister of Education Jessica Alupo launched the National ICT in Education Training Programme to be implemented by Makerere University Business School and KAWA Uganda. The Project has received more support from UTAMU dons like Dr. Jude T Lubega, Drake Mirembe, and Professor Byaramureba

We successfully participated in an international 10th elearning Africa Conference held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia at the African Union Headquarters where our Executive Director Moses Wamanga chaired a session on teacher professional development.

1. KAWA participated and presented a paper in The ICT in Education Training Workshop for School administrators held (11th -15th) May 2009 at the Computer Refurbishment and Training Centre located at Kyambogo College School.
2. A One day Non residential KAWA knowledge sharing and orientation workshop for teachers of Jinja SS on Friday 20-09-2009.
