Northern Uganda is one of the four regions that make up the country of Uganda. The region is located North of the Equator bordering South Sudan to the North. The people are mainly Nilotes.
The bigger Cities in the Region are Lira for Lango territory, Gulu for Acholi territory, and Arua for West Nile. As of Uganda’s 2014 census, the region’s population was 7,188,139.
