We recognise that the education sector plays a vital role in shaping Uganda’s human capital, enabling young people and educators to innovate and find sustainable solutions for equitable national development.
Across Uganda, many schools still struggle with unreliable or no internet, limited digital content, and underutilized ICT laboratories. KAWA CONNECT was created to bridge these gaps. Our offline digital learning hub provides Pre-primary, Primary, Lower Secondary, and A-Level curriculum-aligned content that works 100% without internet—making high-quality learning accessible to all schools, including those in low-resource or remote areas. On this platform, you will find notes, videos, quizzes, ebooks, simulations, and CBC-aligned materials designed to support both independent learning and classroom teaching.
Through the computers supplied by the Government of Uganda to 1,034 secondary schools, KAWA is helping institutions adopt appropriate ICT tools and practices across a wide range of initiatives. These include in-service teacher training through blended learning, Continuous Professional Development (CPD), development of local digital educational content, creation of teaching and learning materials, and the use of ICT to support career guidance and administrative efficiency.
In partnership with the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC), KAWA CONNECT also powers more than 383 ICT Clubs nationwide. Through coding tutorials, innovation toolkits, robotics introductions, project-based learning, and digital challenges, we ensure that ICT labs are fully utilized and learners gain practical skills that prepare them for national competitions and future careers in technology.
Our website also hosts eLearning Uganda, a widely used online platform offering resource-rich content—including videos, presentations, past papers, and interactive lessons—accessible anytime and anywhere. Whether you are a teacher seeking high-quality lesson support, a student preparing for exams, a school leader improving digital systems, or a parent supporting your child’s academic progress, this platform provides everything you need. You will also find links to online school portals, digital textbooks, curriculum support tools, and other essential educational resources.
With the support of Edify Uganda, we have significantly strengthened our offline digital content. Edify’s commitment to Christian-centered education and education technology has enabled us to expand KAWA CONNECT to over 1,500 private and community Christian-owned schools, from pre-primary to secondary. This partnership has amplified our ability to deliver values-based, accessible digital learning solutions to schools that need them most.
