Winds

These are natural hazards in that they:-
    1.    Destroy vegetation.
    2.    Are an agent of soil erosion in dry areas
    3.    Transport  sand and dust that may cause problems in visibility and breathing.
    4.    Destroy property  and human life
    5.    Transport temperatures

Wind hazards can be controlled by:-
i.    Afforestation and re-afforestation programme.
ii.    Monitoring the behaviour of the  environment.
iii.    Adopting agro-forestry.
