The Advantages of copper mining to Zambia.
Zambia has earned very high foreign exchange from copper exports which has led to its economic development.

Ndola, Mufulira, Sakania, Luanshya, Chingola, etc these have shopping centres, good residential houses and many facilities for the people.

There has been subsequent mining of other mineral in the copper belt for example cobalt at Chimbalume and Nkana, Mananose and Lead at Kabwe as well as gold, zinc and silver which are removed during copper processing.
There has been development of infrastructure for example transport network, schools, hospitals, hotels, and recreation grounds.
