Soil erosion
Soil erosion is the removal or detachment of soil material as well as its transportation from one place to another. Soil erosion is in most cases speeded up by man’s activities and it is dangerous to the soil. The main agents of erosion are water and wind. The processes involved in water erosion are splash and surface flow, sheet erosion, rill erosion, gulley erosion, and deflation.
