After preaching on the Sabbath in Capernaum, Jesus went to the home of Simon and Andrew where he healed Simon's mother-in-law. As the Sabbath ended, people came from all around, bringing those who were ill and demon-possessed so that Jesus might heal them. The second indication of the 'Messianic secret' is given in 1:34.
