Logging and Transportation

Trees are cut down by use of mechanised saws.  Hundreds of trees are cut down within the short time.  The horses and tractors drag the logs to the main service roads where they are loaded onto large lorries for transport to saw mills.
Other countries in Africa with forest plantations are Kenya, Botswana, South Africa, Lesotho, Ethiopia, Gabon, Nigeria, Zaire etc.
Forest species grown in Swaziland are Pines, Eucalyptus, Fir, Spruce, Larch.
Largest Pulp mill is Swaziland is found at Bhunya on R.Usutu.
