The tsetse fly
The
mouth part of a tsetse fly bites and sucks.
It spreads trypanasomiasis which is caused by a trypanasome.
The female tsetse fly requires only one mating during her lifetime.
The eggs hatch inside the tsetse fly and the larvae are deposited later. So the tsetse fly is viviparous i.e. produces living ones.
Tsetse flies are attracted to moving objects for example cars.
A person suffering from trypanasomiasis becomes dull, weakens, is sleepy and delirious and finally dies.
