Tropical Savannah Vegetation
This is the dominant type of vegetation covering most parts of the continent. This vegetation is divided into two categories: Savannah grassland and woodland.
Thorn bush savannah: This is typical of drier areas and its characterised by short grass and scattered clamps of thorny trees.
Tall grass with short trees: Thus is typical of wetter regions. Most of the trees are: podo, cedar and camps.
Acacia: Short grass with much more widely scattered trees because of less rainfall.
