Rotational- bush fallowing
Bush fallowing is an agricultural practise where a farmer grows crops on a piece of land until the soil is exhausted and the crops dropped, then that piece of land is abandoned and left under fallow for four to five years to allow it regain its soil fertility naturally. It is practised in zones of high population, particularly by the Bemba of Zambia and people of Senegal, Nigeria, Cameroon, and Zaire.
