Introduction

Africa has a variety of landforms, all of which are as a result of so many forces. There are those which are formed due to faulting and folding, there are landforms associated with vulcanicity, weathering and the movement of materials on the earth surface, erosion and deposition at the coast, flow of rivers and drainage patterns, and glaciation. Some of the major landforms in Africa are the mountains, volcanoes, and rift valleys, fault scarps.
