Effects of the Cold Ocean Current.

•    The cooling effect where by there will be low temperatures in the area. This leads to cold chilly conditions.
•    The winds blowing over the current towards the land are robbed of any moisture they may be bearing.
•    The air is dried as it enters the land, it is further warmed by the land and ends up picking the little available moisture on the land areas.
•    It also causes dryness and no rain in the areas between the Cape of Good Hope and the Estuary of River Zaire.
•    Leads to the formation of Fog which may cause problems in visibility.
•    Leads to the low humidity in the atmosphere.
•    Such areas become cold deserts, like Namib Desert of South West Africa.
