Nationalization of the existing industries and services enabled Tanzania to reduce on the outflow of wealth in form of profits and interests to other countries.

Land was re-distributed to the people all over the country and that ownership increased production in agriculture.

Politically, Tanzania was very successful in terms of improvement of national defence, disciplined army, no civil wars, no tribalism and the most important is that there was no coup in Tanzania.

Increased labour productivity due to organisation of people in good groups.

It helped to dismantle the penetration of neo-colonialism in form of foreign aid.

Advanced skills in agriculture, carpentry, veterinary, construction and other skills were given to the people.

Tanzania became more united than ever before. All the 126 tribes were brought with one national language.
