Rebecca Auma serves as KAWA Accountant. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business
Administration from Makerere University. She is an enthusiastic accountant with high vigor to get
engaged in accountability practices to ensure a high level of efficiency and effectiveness in the use
of organizational resources. She is a CPA candidate soon to join the ranks of meticulous Professional
accountants.

Prior to joining KAWA she served as an Accountant in Nairobi, Kenya, Assistant Lecturer at Team
University and Principal of Bethel Training Institute, Jinja. Her duty is to Prepare, examine, and
analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy,
completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Report to management
regarding the finances of the establishment. Provide internal auditing services for the institute.
Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and
other tax requirement. Analyze institute operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments,
and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice. Develop, maintain, and
analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
