Smallscale industries
A smallscale industry is a production unit whose control is within the capacity of an individual or a group of a few individuals up to 100 employees, in terms of the investment capital required and technical know how e.g carpentry workshop, bricklaying, grain milling, saw milling, dairy, jugglery mills, etc. It has to be argued that small-scale production is quite appropriate in the development process in and in the industrial expansion in particular in developing nations.
