Income Distribution

 

Income distribution looks at how resource are-distributed within the economy to different groups of people income inequality refers to the gap or the difference in incomes between the rich and the poor f the haves and the have note. There are four types of inequalities namely -

 

individual /social inequality. This is reflected in the difference of income among the people difference in talents abilities and ambitions among inequality.

Regional inequality: This is reflected in form of difference in resources owned by rural and level of Development between region. E.g central region and eastern region.

Sectoral inequality: This is reflected in differences sector for example among industry, agriculture, banking versus transport etc.

Intra-sectoral inequality. This type of inequality occurs within a given sector e.g in the industrial sector we have small-scale industrial. In agriculture we have commercial agriculture versus subsistence agriculture
