
Kanyua Nduthu is a Communication Strategist, Corporate Planner, researcher, monitoring &
evaluation specialist, education curriculum developer, content developer, Climate change
ambassador, Peace Ambassador, Gender advocate, Civic Educator, Sexual Reproductive Health
Educator with a wide experience in Adolescence Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)
Education & Policy since 2015. She is the Lead Consultant and Advisor at KAWA AFRICA.
She is a Shining Girl who was lucky to escape FGM and has become a vocal advocate against
practices that affect dignity and emotional stability of the girl Child in Africa.
She in the final stages of completing her Master Degree in Communication Studies and Development
from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education Arts from Maseno
University.
She has worked with Young African Leaders Association (YALI) and Center for Africa Volunteers(CAV)
as program coordinator.
She advocates for preventive approaches that nurture molarity, responsibility and accountability and
hard work as opposed to erratic curative model of most development policies.
