Bukomansimbi District is an education, agricultural, and commercial district located in the Central Region (Greater Masaka area) of Uganda. The district administrative headquarters are situated at Bukomansimbi Town, approximately 26 kilometres (16 miles) by road northwest of Masaka City and about 150 kilometres southwest of Kampala.

Geographically, Bukomansimbi District is bordered by Gomba District to the north, Kalungu District to the east, Masaka District to the southeast, Lwengo District to the southwest, and Sembabule District to the northwest. The district is characterized by fertile agricultural land, rolling hills, and rural trading centres that support smallholder farming, commercial coffee production, banana (matooke) cultivation, livestock rearing, and local trade.

To enhance academic outcomes and strengthen institutional capacity, KAWA Uganda partners with headteachers, school administrators, and local education stakeholders across Bukomansimbi.
