 The word Genesis
means the origin or the beginning. In respect to the bible, the book of Genesis
gives an elaborate explanation of the origin and the beginning of everything
that exists in the universe.
The origin of human beings, animals, sins, suffering and
salvation among others are well illustrated in the different chapters of the
book of Genesis. The first two chapters look at creation as the process through
which all living and non-living things came into existence.
